Oprah’s final episodes will be a 3-part extravaganza featuring cameos from so many celebrities, we’ve lost count. Yesterday, she taped two of the last three episodes in front of 20,000 fans in Chicago’s United Center as part of her “Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular” send-off.
Beyonce opened with a performance of “Run The World (Girls).” Will Smith & Jada Pinkett-Smith acted as hosts. Alicia Keys accompanied Maya Angelou on piano as she recited a poem about Oprah. Stedman introduced Aretha Franklin who brought Oprah to tears with her rendition of “Amazing Grace.” Jamie Foxx sang “Isn’t She Lovely” with Stevie Wonder on piano. And Usher closed the evening with a medley of “OMG” and “Oh Happy Day,” bringing out a choir. Read the rest of this entry
